Which option is right for me?
Five ways to work together, from a single session to a monthly retainer. Start with the one that matches where you are now.
| Option | Who it suits | What's included | Next step |
|---|---|---|---|

| HR Health Check£395, fixed fee | Cafés, cleaning firms, shops and other frontline teams, or care services with no inspection coming up. | A written once-over of what you already have: what's working, the gaps worth closing first and prioritised next steps. | See the Health Check |

Still not sure? Tell me what's going on and I'll point you to the lightest option that works, or .
Retainer prices rise with team size. No VAT is added.
I come to your service, see how things really work and compare it with what CQC or Ofsted will expect to see in your staff records and people processes. Then I give you the tools to close the gaps and show you and your managers how to use them, so you go into inspection knowing where you stand.
Already have an HR provider or helpline? This works alongside it. They answer the phone when something goes wrong; I come in and check you're ready before anyone asks.
This covers the people side: safer recruitment, DBS and right to work records, training, supervision and HR policies. It doesn't cover clinical, medication or premises checks.
- An on-site visit, anywhere in the UK, looking at your records alongside how the service runs day to day
- A written gap report: where you are, where you need to be, in priority order
- The tools to get there: checklists, trackers and templates fitted to your service
- A walkthrough with you and your managers so you can use them with confidence
Final price depends on the size of your service and is agreed in writing before I start. Travel outside London may be added, always agreed with you first.
That's not my main focus, and I'd rather help you avoid it. But I do support it properly when it happens. Full detail and pricing are on the dedicated page.
See Employee Relations Support →Practical help across the whole employee journey.
From a new starter's first week to a tricky absence case. Pick what sounds like you and I'll point you to the lightest way to get it sorted.

A conversation first, then something you can use straight away.
Every Seedling session starts with a free 20-minute discovery call, whether or not you go on to book. That call is what lets me tailor your 60 minutes to you.
Clearer, calmer and more confident. You'll know where you stand, what to do next and why, with the weight off your shoulders and that "I'm glad I checked" feeling.
If anything still feels unclear afterwards, just tell me and we'll go through it again. That's part of the session, not an extra.
A situation you're dealing withAn absence case, a difficult conversation, a probation decision
An absence case, a difficult conversation, a probation decision or a concern about conduct or performance. I'll help you work out what's happening, what your options are and what I'd do.
- Your options and my recommendation, in plain English
- The letters you need, drafted for your case, such as a meeting invitation or an outcome letter
- A short script or checklist for the conversation
You'll feel steadier, knowing you have a plan and that you're handling it fairly.

A new policy, a contract, a section of your handbook, or a once-over of one you already have.
- A document drafted or reviewed to fit how you work
- A note of what changed and why, so you can explain it to your team
- Advice on how to roll it out
You'll feel confident that the paperwork fits your business and that you can explain it to your team.

Probation, onboarding, return-to-work conversations, or helping a manager feel confident handling people issues.
- A reusable checklist or template, ready to use
- A step-by-step process in plain English
- Talking points for your managers
- Ideas for simple automation, such as reminders and trackers, where it would save you time
You'll feel relieved that it's sorted, and that your managers know exactly what to do.
Up to two documents are included in each session. Larger pieces, such as a full handbook, are available as a fixed-fee project below, and extra time is £95 an hour.
Fixed fee, so you know the cost before I start.
Some jobs are better as a one-off project than a monthly retainer. Each one is agreed in writing before I begin.

Let's talk about where you are, and where you want to grow.
Book a 20-minute discovery call. It's a chance for you to tell me what support you need and for me to understand your business, no pressure, no obligation.
- Twenty minutes, by phone or video, whatever's easiest for you
- We talk through what's actually going on, no form to fill in first
- No hard sell. If I'm not the right fit, I'll say so
